There is no try, Only do!!
Just my opinion, for what it’s worth

This has been in the news quite a bit, and I just wanted to put my opinion out there, for whatever it is worth to whoever cares. Again, just my opinion…

I have issues with both sides of this…On the one side, we don’t know what Trayvon was really up to. On the other side, we have Zimmerman going after Trayvon after the police told him not to. I don’t have an issue with him having a gun with him; that is what they are there for, unknown situations. Even if he did go in, he should not have confronted Trayvon (if he did), but just kept an eye on him. As (Self Appointed) neighborhood watch, his job is to observe and report, not confront! On the other side, “if” Trayvon was up to no good, he probably would have been long gone before the police got there. It sounds like Zimmerman had seen this happen before and was fed up with punks (not calling Trayvan a punk, just what I think was going through Zimmerman’s mind) getting away with it.

My personal opinion of how this went down - Trayvon was walking through the neighborhood, Zimmerman saw someone he thought was suspicious and followed him. He reported it to the police who told him to stand down. Because Zimmerman thought the kid might get away, he followed Trayvon anyway. I think either Trayvon head Zimmerman or Zimmerman confronted him and had him cornered, in which case Trayvon fought back, not knowing who Zimmerman was or that he was neighborhood watch. (Did Zimmerman announce himself?) At some point, after Trayvon fought back, Zimmerman became afraid for his life and shot Trayvon, in self defense. I don’t think Zimmerman is guilty of murder, as murder is premeditated. I’m not convinced he followed Trayvon with the intent to kill. However, as he had already done his duty and reported the incident, and was told to stand down…he is guilty of some form of manslaughter. I’m not a lawyer, but this sounds like it might fall under imperfect self defense, if that exists in Florida.

Yesterday, Alexander Macgillivray, Twitter’s general counsel, wasted little time in speaking out against Google+ being fully baked into Google Search — even before Twitter officially did on the record. Today he’s elaborating a bit. Why doesn’t the ex-Google employee like Search+? This is why:

Looks like the lines are being drawn. Is it time to call out Bing also? @wwe doesn’t show up until half way down the second page!! Oh the humanity!!

In reality, at least for me, the WWE home page showed up first for both Google and Bing. Second on Bing is social search results as I have my FaceBook connected to my Bing profile. Hmm, sound familiar? 3rd on Bing is Bing Shopping results. Can we say self promotion? 4th for Bing is Wikipedia. And somewhere on the second page is the link for @WWE’s Twitter account.

As for Google, as I said, the WWE Homepage is first. As most know by now, the WWE G+ profile is next. Third is Wikipedia, and Twitter is 4th.

Move On and the rest of the Brady Bunch are just as extreme on the the left end as the Tea Party Extremists are on the right end. What we really need is something in the middle to rise up and let the extremists at either end know that we are tired of the bickering and need something done that will help the middle class instead of bunch of playground bullies that won’t compromise because they see it as a sign of weakness.

The problem is most of us (me included) are afraid to change from one of the two dominant parties until someone else does and those parties become main stream and have a chance of winning. Kind of a Catch 22.

Obama is a failure for all of us who voted for him, as I did. Should I have voted Republican? No! What choice did I have? What choice do we have now?

That is one of the problems with the current regime. To many voters didn’t vote for Obama, but rather against Republicans. They were so dead set against Bush that they would vote for almost anyone who was not Republican. Of course, voting for any party other then Democrat is futile, so the votes went to Obama. What we need is a good party/candidate somewhere between both extremes. Unfortunately, that will probably never happen.

Lori Klein, Arizona State Senator, Pointed Loaded Gun At Reporter Richard Ruelas’s Chest

I’m not sure what you mean by “the reaction of the gun lobby.” Everything I have read says gun owners are outraged that she pointed her weapon at anyone, whether she had her finger on the trigger or not. This says to me that responsible gun owners know this is “serious business”. Gun owners know that firearms are dangerous, that is why you should treat them with respect, and never point them at anything unless you intend to shoot it.

Mississippi Flooding: Homes Turned Into Islands To Resist Rising River (PHOTOS)

The only problem is that someone would probably want to charge for it. And I don’t mean for the construction, pipeline and distribution. I’m not sure how or even if the Mississippi states any kind of water banking like the states along the Colorado river do. Due to the lower amount of water in the Colorado, there is a water credit system in place so that the states upstream don’t take more than their share and leave the downstream states without water. This further distributed between counties, municipalities and cities. There is a whole water banking system at play here, and it does come into play in politics. I’m not saying this is a bad thing, but if the idea of transferring water around becomes a reality, I’m sure the states that were “losing” water (that they don’t even want) would want to be compensated. Just something to take into account.

Sony PlayStation Network Breach Shows Trouble With Tracking Hackers

The issue isn’t that they don’t leave a “digital fingerprint”, but being able to see the “digital fingerprint”. This isn’t in the logs, but rather in the method of how the system was hacked. If they left behind traces of the files, you can look at them, see how they were written. If the hacker wrote their own scripts, you might be able to trace it back by the way they wrote them. The naming convention, and even the location they may have placed their files on the system. You can also trace back the path they took into the system. Even if they used a fake IP or went through another system, or multiple systems, the method they use may also help to “fingerprint” them.

So, I agree, there is always a “fingerprint”. It’s just a matter of knowing what to look for.

and now for something completely different…

For a while now, I’ve been wanting a place to post my thoughts and have a place to put some of my longer comments to articles and links I find all over the internet. Twitter is too short, and even if I could fit all of what I want to say in relations to an article in the comment section of said article, it doesn’t always seem like the right place to put it. I’ve also started a couple of blogs, but they seem to take to much work and more organization than I seem willing to put into keeping them up. I can put some of this on FaceBook, but many of the subjects I like go into technically detail, and I don’t want to put my FaceBook friends to sleep.

Anyway, we will see how it goes. Hopefully I’ll be able to put some interesting things on here from my unique perspective. Time will tell.
